2018 Mitsubishi L200 makers have not announced any release date for their upcoming vehicle. This truck is expected to hit the market by the end of 2017.
Release date might be postponed for a few weeks and officially launched in 2018. Price ranges in various trim levels will vary with the base models having a price tag of $25,000.
Multiple Engine choice will provide fans with more options
2018 Mitsubishi L200 is going to have two engines. Base models will be given an upgraded powertrain setup far more superior than its forerunners. As of now, it is expected to carry a MIVEC engine which will have four-cylinders besides having 2.4-liter fuel capacity. This engine will be able to generate a power of 151 HP and produce 280 lb-ft torque.
The second drivetrain is going to be a turbocharged unit with four cylinders which will also have 2.4-liter fuel capacity. This engine will also run on diesel and will produce a torque and of 317 lb-ft and an optimum power of 178 HP.
Fuel economy will be quite high as compared to what the previous models had generated. On city roads, fuel economy will be about 32 mpg while those on highways will be around 35 mpg. Transmission is going to be either 5-speed automatic or 5-speed manual. All-wheel drive feature is going to be present in this truck.
